As 2009 winds down, Keith and I would like to thank all of you—our loyal blog readers—for keeping up with us this past year. We’d especially like to thank those of you who’ve noticed our new blog design and sent us notes. Yep, change is happening on this site and we’re pretty excited about it. We have been helping to beta test a new version of the ProPhoto WordPress theme. If you’re a photographer or a WordPress junkie then this theme is for you! The new version offers built in slideshow capabilities and over the next few weeks we hope to use this new feature to update our portfolio galleries.
But change isn’t just limited to our website—it’s also in our photos! This month Keith and I had the awesome opportunity to photograph the L. Family. But this was no ordinary family session. Instead of heading to a park or the beach, we opted for the Lab and the Camp in Costa Mesa. The urban, eclectic backdrop offered a ton of color and texture that just can’t be found anywhere else. You may remember that we photographed April and Matt’s engagement session at these same spots earlier this year. But this sneak peek photo proves that the Lab and the Camp isn’t just great for couples, it’s also perfect for families.
