When Keith and I first started our photography business, neither of us had a lot of experience working with kids. Along the way, we’ve learned several tips to make family photo sessions go more smoothly.
Tip #1: When working with toddlers, always have a snack on hand. And a couple juice boxes don’t hurt either.
When we met up with the L. Family, Dave and Kira were awesome and brought just the right goodies for their toddler, Jacob, to munch on. You’d be surprised how a quick snack can buy a few more mintues of smiles, espeically when it’s combined with a few trips down the slide. And not to be outdone by Jacob, little brother Matthew held his own in the cute department. Much thanks to the L. Family for the fun morning! This was our third family portrait session with them, and they are always a blast to hang out with.
