What’s big and orange and usually soars over the night sky? If you live in central Orange County you’re probably familiar with this pumpkin-like icon—the Great Park Balloon. It opened last year, but Keith I finally got a chance to check it out a couple weeks ago. Although we had no intention to take a flight (Keith has a fear of heights while I have an aversion to participating in activities that require liability waivers), we were hoping to see it in action when we stopped by. Unfortunately, the winds were blowing too hard that evening and the flights were postponed. But even on the ground, the balloon still makes for an impressive display.
