Merry Christmas! Santa (a.k.a. Keith) was quite generous this year. He surprised me with a new Lensbaby 3G. For those of you not familiar with it, a Lensbaby is a specialty lens developed for SLR cameras.
As the company puts it: “Lensbaby photos have one area in sharp focus, with that “sweet spot” surrounded by gradually increasing blur. You can move the sweet spot to any part of your photo by bending the flexible lens tubing.”
The blur effect produced by this lens is reminiscent of Holga cameras. We put it to use this morning taking photos of the ornaments on our tree.
There’s a large community of Lensbaby users online. The Lensbaby website offers a forum where users can share their photos. We highly recommend taking a look.
